2008 brings the release of the new John Babcock CD,
"It Is What It Is." John spent 8 months writing, recording and producing
the disc, his 10th solo release. John went back to basics for this project,
recording the entire album in his home studio using a limited amount of recording
gear. Most of John's recordings over the years have been captured at many
state-of-the-art studios in New York, New Jersey and Florida, as well as at
the famed Abbey Road Studios in London.
For this one, he wanted to record in the same fashion as he did for his First
Sessions, using an 8-track recorder and a few good microphones. The results
are impressive. Check out the new CD on John's CD/DVD page on this site.
